Down home type food is quite tasty. Real mashed potatoes. Large slices of home made pie and cake. Friendly service.Eaten here many times. Never been disappointed.

Food is pretty good and prices are fair. Place has a nice small town feel. Waitresses are friendly and very nice. Nice selection to choose from on menu. We have been a few times now.

Was there for a meeting, impressed that they closed to the public for us. Buffet food was good and salad bar was fresh and well stocked.

We waited over an hour to get our food after ordering. The staff was slow and the food was awful. Fries were cold and the burger was burnt. Would not recommend to anyone

My first visit and I loved it. Great food, family atmosphere and wonderful service. The ending was a piece if their chocolate meringue pie. Like coming home.

The Pines in Sparta has the best home cooked meals you will find anywhere. Well worth my drive from Fries. Large servings, good prices and friendly staff.

What a great place! While camping at Stone Mountain State Park, we wanted lunch so we let the GPS decide. It led us here. Everything we had was delicious and home-cooked. An accidental find, but an excellent one!

The Pines of Sparta has a very caring, wonderful, and attentive staff and owner who's only interest is to make your food delicious and your day enjoyable! The chicken thigh was very great with the brown rice. Just for fun, I dicided to have a little home made macaroni salad like you might do if you lived out in the country at your own dinner table.

That was my first time eating there. my waitress ,which was very kind and saw that I had what I needed. From the tea to the main course was delicious. I really enjoyed all of my meal. I will go back And tell family and friends about the pines restaurant. Thank you.

Very friendly family atmosphere with great food. You can get anything from a hamburger to shrimp and it's all great. Love their vegetables too. Better leave room for their homemade desserts too.

I can tell they are very nice and hospitable but....The waitress knew nothing about any of the food and wouldn't recommend anything. The one thing she said was good they were out of. Which they were out of 3 things we ordered. They were even out of baked potatoes. Who's ever out of baked potatoes. ALL the food was bland and had no flavor except the chicken tenders which had hair in it.......like numerous pieces. Again the employees were very polite but A HORRIBLE dining experience. I'm sure this was an off day.

I like this restaurant. It's family and friend oriented with good service and food. I wish I could have gotten the pepper out easier then taken the lid off to sprinkle my food though.

We had a wonderful breakfast here. Great tenderloin biscuit. Tasty grits. And the people working there were so friendly. This is my kind of spot. Can’t wait to get back again when I’m in Sparta.
